The Wright Family Foundation has made an unprecedented 13-year commitment worth more than $1.4 million to the I Have A Dream programme, funding support of 100 students from four low-decile schools from Year 3 until the age of 20.
Thanks to the funding, Year 3 children at Tikipunga Primary, Totara Grove School, and Te Kura o Otangarei School will begin the programme in 2018. This funding will support the entire Year 3 level at these schools, beginning in 2018 and following the same group of children through the next 13 years as they go through primary school, and on to Tikipunga High School and beyond.
